SOIL TYPES 




ere are four main types of soil12:

  1. Sandy soil
  2. Silt soil
  3. Clay soil
  4. Loam soil 


Characteristics of soil types 

  1. Sandy: Largest soil particles with large air spaces between them.
  2. Silt: Smaller than sand but bigger than clay particles.
  3. Clay: Smallest particles.
  4. Loam: A mixture of sand, silt, and clay particles.
